Learn to Look Beneath The Surface
When shopping for cultured pearls here are some key factors to keep in mind.

Luster: You should be able to see an object’s reflection in the pearl’s surface. The cleaner the reflection, the better the luster.

Cleanliness: The most desirable pearls have no bumps, cracks or spots on the surface.

Shape: The rounder a pearl is, the greater its value.

Color: Color is strictly a matter of personal preference. It does not affect value.
